Meeting Ada Claire

It was a few hours after Ada was born before we finally got to see her.  I was able to get in the shower and go to our clean room before hand.  This pretty little thing has stolen our hearts.  She is breathing fine, but they will continue to check her lung function, etc.  Ada came into the world weighing 6lbs 9 oz and is 19" long.  She is the smallest of our three children.

Of course, Mom and Dad got to hold Ada first.  Nana was there for the delivery so she got to hold her too.  Papa came for a little bit, but he is sick and didn't hold her.  He kept his distance and was masked up the whole time!

After school was out, Grandma and Papa went and picked up Alex and Amelia to bring them to meet their new baby sister.  The pictures say more than I ever could.  They are clearly over the moon excited and just as in love as we are!!

Ada even brought presents for her new big brother and sister.  She's excited to watch all three Diary of a Wimpy Kid movies with them and she brought a photo album of all the fun things that happened over the summer that she heard happen, but couldn't see.  She's excited to join our family and we are glad to have her here!

I'm still in complete shock that she is a girl!!  Amelia was the only one who thought we were having a girl.  She let us know she was right too!  Boy or Girl we are beyond happy to have the final member of our family with us.
