We Got the Silver Bucket!!!

 

When the team breaks they always say 'Believe Together'. 
This is Alex's new favorite game to play at home.

The annual Silver Bucket game was tonight.  We came home again with the bucket!!!  We beat the New Berlin Pretzels 49-20.  It was a chilly night and we were all bundled up.  Luckily we had a running clock the second half, so the game went quickly.  Alex was kind of grumpy, so it worked out that we were winning by so much that he was able to sit up with Daddy's in the crow's nest and wear the headset.  He thought he was big stuff!!  He also got to tell the other team 'good game.'  This is another thing he likes to do at home. 

When we got home from the game we discovered three of the coach's cars had been vandalized.  They had windows busted out and tires slashed.  Not a fun way to end the evening.  But nothing can keep us down, we're still undefeated!! Go Bullets!!

My First Cereal!!

Since we got the OK to go ahead and try cereal, Mommy wasted no time!!  She's hoping this will help keep the little one's belly full for a little longer during the night!  She needs her beauty sleep!!!  Amelia wasn't super impressed with her cereal, but we'll keep trying.  She kept putting her thumb in her mouth, making it very hard to feed her.  It did help her swallow the cereal though.  She's sure to get the hang of it eventually!

4 Months Old

Today Miss Pristina is 4 months old!!!  We went to the Dr. today for her check-up and to get the next round of pesky shots!!  Our growing baby girl weighed in at 13 lbs 12 oz (55%), is 24 3/4" long (70%) and her head measured 53 cm (we didn't get the percentile on this one for some reason).  She's long and lean, and I sure hope she stays that way!!  Other than that she checked out healthy and happy!!  Her big brother wasn't happy when he got a surprise flu shot, but he'll thank me when he's not super sick this winter (well, let's hope anyway!!!)

I was worried about our photo shoot today because I thought the shots would make Amelia fussy, but a few doses of Tylenol and the girl is good as new!  I love all her smiles!!  Alex on the other hand wasn't willing to take his picture with Amelia tonight, he just wanted to hide so I chased him around until I got a few pictures.  We had fun!!

Amelia, in the last month your smiles and laughter come on a daily basis.  You are officially rolling over in both directions and are quite a little squirmer.  I have a feeling you'll be crawling in no time!!!  Sure wish you would sleep a little better, but I'm thankful that you at least eat and go back to sleep. You are becoming quite tickilish, but when you laugh it almost sounds like you are going to cry.  I know there is more I should say, but right now my brain is so tired I can't think!!  Just know that we love you to the moon and back!!

Busy Little Girl

Amelia has been quite busy growing up lately.  Today she rolled over by herself!!  Alex and I were cheering her own like she was about to win a gold medal.  It was so cute listening to Alex scream, 'she did it!!'  He was a proud big brother!!  Amelia has also taken quite an interest in playing with toys, and Alex enjoys taking them from her.  He claims they are his.  We're struggling with sharing a bit.  He also has been tattling on her when she grabs his shirt or hair.  It's difficult to explain that she is not trying to hurt him.  Oh the lessons we must learn!

Twins

Tonight Brandy and John dropped off Kaelynn & Karly while they went and looked at a few houses in Williamsville.  I truly can't imagine having multipes, especially while having other children in the home.  The girls were good, but I'm thankful it was for a short while.  Alex had fun playing with them.  He helped keep them entertained for sure!!

Bear Down, Chicago Bears!!!

We haven't been home the last two Sundays to actually sit down and watch a Bears game.  This week we were so excited because the whole Kershaw family was home and we could all watch the game together.  We then figured out it was a 3:15 game, and everybody needed to get home before then.  It ended up being for the best because the Bears played horrible against the Packers.  It was bad enough watching it with Daddy let alone the whole family!!!  We still attempted a few photos but trying to get three little ones to cooperate all at the same time is virtually impossible!!
