Fun After Church

We headed to Virden this morning to go to church with Grandma and Papa, so she could share the good news of our family growing again with the church.  Then we went to their house for lunch and playtime.  The kids took advantage of playing in the snow after church while everyone else visited!

Date Night

Grandma and Papa were already scheduled to come over today to watch the kids because we were going to the Sports Boosters fundraiser.  It just so happened that Uncle Trevor, Aunt Ashley, and Uncle Tony got to hang out and play with the kids too!  Mommy and Daddy enjoyed an evening out with friend.

Building a Snowman

Today was just about as perfect of a day as any to go outside and build a snowman.  The sun was out and it wasn't freezing cold.  The kids and Grandma spent about 45 minutes outside playing in the snow and building a snowman and a turtle.  Grandma also spent quite a bit of time putting gloves back on, but we won't mention that.

It was fantastic to stay inside in the complete warmth and take pictures through the window.  Thanks Grandma!!!

Alex is excited to welcome another new Kershaw to the family!

Aunt Ashley and Uncle Trevor came to share some good news with us.  The just bought a house and will close in April AND they are having a baby in August.  This will be the 5th baby in 5 years.  We've got quite a streak going.  Adam and I said we'll throw in for the 2014 baby but we're cashing our chips in after that!!!

Finally Some Snow!!

 

I opened the door and got a snowball thrown at me!

There's finally enough snow on the ground to go outside and play in.  Alex is over the moon excited.  Amelia enjoyed it for about 10 minutes and then was ready to go in.  I hauled her inside and we watched Alex through the window.  Daddy is gone for the next two nights to St. Louis for a football clinic.

We were almost home from Orion, and I was blown away by the beautiful sunset.  I think I got some pretty cool pictures considering we were flying down the interstate!!!
