We Got the Silver Bucket!!!

Yes, that's Alex inside the Silver Bucket, a tradition that was started between Williamsville and New Berlin in 2003 at Aaron & Liz Kunz's wedding. Long story that doesn't really matter, but a tradition was born nonetheless! We're hoping we can bust this picture out years from now when Alex is big enough to be playing for the Silver Bucket himself!!

Mommy had a rough night at the game. She didn't get to watch any of it because her eye was hurting so bad. I thought I had something on my contact, so took it out when I got to the game. Then my eye started burning and watering uncontrollably. I tried to tough it out, but by the end of the game the pain was too much to bear. Adam ended up taking me to the ER and we found out I had scratched my cornea. They gave me some eye drops and an eye patch and sent me on my way. It should be completely healed in 24-48 hours. Unfortunately that means Mommy can't play softball on Sunday for her work outing, but we're hoping to still go and hang out.

On a really happy note we officially found out today that we SOLD our house!!! YAY!!!!! We will now be moving to Williamsville in November and officially become Bullets for life!

PS "We Got the Silver Bucket" should be sung to the same tune as "I Got the Golden Ticket" from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

Dog Gone Cute!

Yes, the little man is Dog Gone Cute, just like his PJ's say!!! I really love the little doggy feet! Our little man is just growing like a weed and getting cuter and fatter by the day!! I put him on the scale with me the other day and he was 16lbs!!! We go for a check-up a week from Friday and we'll get the official results.

Alex has been fighting a cold the last several days. He's had a cough and been congested but he's been a little trooper. Hopefully it doesn't get any worse. He's done a lot of sleeping trying to fight it off. Mommy's even let him suck on his fingers!!

Mommy and Daddy have fallen in love with a new house in Williamsville and even put on offer in on it yesterday. We're hoping and praying really really hard that we can get our house sold and move! A few things still need to fall into place, but hopefully it all works out. Mommy may be really disappointed if it doesn't. We've decided God's been good to us so far, so if it's meant to be it will be!! We're keeping our fingers crossed though!!

A Big Win for the Bullets

It's been a crazy weekend, so I'm just now getting around to posting! The Bullets had a huge win over Auburn on Friday night. It was a very exciting game and lots of celebrating was done at the Kershaw house afterwards. It was pretty chilly, so both Alex and Seth have their Bullets gear all covered up with coats. We did still manage to get a picture with their Daddy's this week, and both Dad's have huge smiles after this win!!! As you can tell a little water was poured on the coaches afterwards.

Rollover, Rollover!!

Alex rolled from his back to his belly today!! What a big boy!! Now that he can roll both ways, I'm a little worried. We're going to have a real mover and shaker on our hands before long!

Please pardon the nakedness. We're fighting a bad case of diaper rash and were just trying to air things out a bit. Of course, I didn't have the camera for the first rollover attempt, but managed to get shots of the second one. I helped him over a little bit the second time in order to get all the pictures I need for documentation sake!!

What more can you say??? Go BEARS!! The Kershaw house is ready to roll with some Sunday Night Football! We're anxious to see what the new QB Jay Cutler can do!! Last night at Becky & Adam's wedding reception the car we parked behind had Cutler plates. I'm thinking it's a sign!!

The Bullets pulled off a win last night in a nail-biter of a game, with a score of 19-12 over the Pleasant Plains Cardinals. This was the first time ever that we have played Plains, and they were a tough team. The bottom line though, we got another win. Alex was not too impressed with all the loud yelling and cheering, so sitting in the stands really isn't an option for us. Last night we hung out near the press box at the very top of the bleachers where there was less noise, and that seemed to help out a bit. Alex hung out with his Grandma and Grandpa Kershaw for a little while, but he really does love his snuggle time with Mommy, of course there's no complaints from me!! : )

As promised from last week, Alex is sporting his new Bullets shirt. We managed to round up all the kids to get their picture taken. It turned out well other than my child was screaming the whole time. In his defense I didn't put him in Seth's arms very well, and Alex ended up bonking his head on the ground. It's the first of many 'injuries', but he's fine. We also managed to get a picture with 'Grandma' Sharon, who owns the daycare Alex goes to. She also runs the scoreboard at all the home football games. She affectionately calls Alex the Super Shitter, because he is so loud and frequent with his poops. His teacher's call him the Power Pooper. Alex is also sporting his new football shoes as well. This kid really is doomed if he doesn't like football!

Today, Alex headed to Jacksonville with his Uncle Thomas for a sleepover. Mommy and Daddy are going to a wedding and think they deserve a little alone time. We're looking forward to it, but are going to miss Buggy terrible!! We'll go get him tomorrow because we have to be home in time to see the Bears play in the season opener. Of course pictures in Bears attire will follow!! Go Bullets!! Go Bears!!

Mirror, Mirror on the Wall . . .

The little man caught a glimpse of himself in the mirror yesterday and was quite intrigued. I put him up closer to it and he would look at me and then himself and then just smile and talk. It was so darn cute. He enjoyed it so much I put a full length mirror on the floor and let him go to town.
