Where's Amelia??

What, you can't see Amelia among the piles of clothes on the couch??  Well, she's in there, but there are waaaay tooo many clothes to be folded and put away.  It's a constant battle, that I wish I could figure out how to win.  PS  The girl is addicted to her thumb and the iPad.

March Behavior Report

Alex started the month off a little rough, but ended with a solid effort.  Can't believe there is only 2 months of school left.  Time is flying by and Alex is learning soooo much.  The amount of words he can now read is crazy.  My little sponge is pretty smart!!

Breathing Treatments

Yep, we are still doing breathing treatments.  So glad she doesn't mind them.  Poor thing is still so wheezy and can't seem to get rid of the awful cough.  Today she got another breathing treatment medicine plus we've now added an antibiotic and steroid. Praying she gets better. She's as happy as can be until bedtime and then she's a hot mess. I've never been so tired in my life

Mommy's Helper

Alex was a huge helper this morning.  He fed Ada breakfast so I could get ready for church.  #winning

Tax Time

Today we went to Virden so Mommy and Daddy could do our taxes.  The kids enjoyed spending time with Grandma and Papa.  They had to go up to the back to get Ada's social security number and each came back with a bag full of goodies.  They always seem to come home with lots of junk and spoiled rotten!! I guess that's how it's supposed to be though!

Daddy's gone to a football clinic for the next few days, so what does Ada decide to start saying tonight?  DAD DAD DAD!!!  Daddy always gets the first shout out!!

Back to the Dr

Today it was back to the Dr for this little lady.  We just can't seem to get rid of the rattling in her chest.  Ada ended up having to get an X-ray and they decided she had the start of bronchitis.  We are going to keep doing breathing treatments and got back next week to check in.  Sure wish she felt better.  She sure does handle the breathing treatments well though.  I don't even want to discuss seeing her get the X-ray.  It's brutal and there is nothing fun about it.  UGH!

New Chairs

I've always wanted Adirondack chairs and Adam always said he could make them, but it's just never happened.  I found a great deal on two of them and they have foot rests and a table.  It took no time for Alex and Amelia to make themselves comfy.  Looking forward to relaxing on the patio in these!

Moving Day

Today we headed to Milan to check out Aunt Sara & Uncle Travis's new home!  Daddy and Travis went and picked up a final load and built some shelves, while Sara and I powered through the bathroom and kitchen.  The kids enjoyed playing together and Ada loved boucing in the Jumparoo we found in the basement as we were putting boxes away.  We worked hard, but accomplished so much!!  We even enjoyed a beautiful sunset on the way home.  This picture in noooo way does justice for the huge fireball of orange glow that was shining down on us.  God is so good!!!

Today T5 got his first pair of Chuck T's and decided to share via text with the family.  Of course, this started a hole chain of texts and pictures with the entire family.  Uncle Jordan and Aunt Barb were in Chicago visiting with Uncle Jacob and Nana & Mommy were at a Cursillo meeting.  Adam and the kids were hanging out at home today.  The Thomas's were hanging out together, while Gabbi was at the movies with her friends.  We're all over the place, but we are always in each other's hearts.  These kind of conversations just really make my day!

Fancy Nancy

Tonight Amelia and I had a little girls night out.  We headed downtown to the Legacy Theatre to see Fancy Nancy.  Amelia loves reading the Fancy Nancy books, so she was over the moon to get to dress up and be fancy.  She was so happy to get to go up on stage after the show and get her picture taken with the cast and get autographs.  In the words of Nancy and Amelia, it was an exquisite time!!!
