Polar Bear, Polar Bear

 

Ada has discovered my Molly bear.  I got her for Christmas many years ago (I think Jordan was just a baby).  She has a red scarf that has Molly  embroidered on it.  This started my obsession with polar bears.  Ada has been carrying this bear around everywhere lately.  She loves her as much as I do!!!

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun

 

 

While the boys were on their trip, we hung out with Gabbi at our house.  I thought it was the perfect time to introduce them to my favorite 80s movie Girls Just Wanna Have Fun.  They both really liked it.  Amelia has watched it several more times on her own!  We also made cookies, and some Rice Krispy treats for Little T.  Always fun hanging out with my girls!!   

 

Also note, Ada and her new obsession with bread.  She eats at least one piece every night after dinner.  She gets in the bread drawer by herself and hauls the loaf over for us to open. 

Boys Trip

 

Alex and Thomas got to go on a boy's trip with their Dad's.  It was a present they got for Christmas.  They headed to Peoria to watch a Rivermen's hockey game, spent the night in a hotel, and then visited the Caterpillar Museum on Saturday.  Needless to say, they loved every minute of it!!!

15 Month Well Baby Visit

 

Today Ada had her 15 month well baby visit, but we did have to stop for a Krispy Kreme doughnut before we went to the Dr.    As you can see, Ada thoroughly enjoyed her treat and was on a little sugar high being a complete goofball at the Dr.  Today Ada weighed in at 22lbs 4oz (62%), height 31" (60%), and head circumference of 45cm (30%).  She's a happy and healtyish little thing.  You know other than her constant sinus problems (she got it from her Daddy!!)

 

 

Toddler Room Visit

 

Ada is hanging in the toddler room this afternoon getting ready for the official move.  She seems to be doing ok!

Ada is going to be moving to the toddler room at daycare.  I can't believe she's growing so fast.  She loves her Miss Cindy, so this transition is not going to be easy at all!!!!

Kindergarten Registration

 

WHAT?!?!?  How is it possible that Amelia will be going to kindergarten in the fall?  Folks, it's true!  She's growing up fast.  Look out world, she's officially registered for SES!!  She was concerned that she didn't have her back pack yet.  I assured her we still have plenty of time to get one.

Autumn's Baptism

 

 

 

 

 

Today Adam and I had the privilege of becoming Autumn's godparents as she was baptized into the Catholic faith today.  She was absolutely perfect during the whole thing.  She's such a sweet little thing.  We are blessed to have a family that places God at the center.  We truly are a very blessed group. 

Unplug and Create

 

Alex is playing the Xbox, Amelia's on the iPad, and Adam is on his phone. Too many electronics. . .  let's bust out the water colors and paint some pictures.  It's time to unplug for a bit!!!

Warm & Snuggly

 

Ada looks so warm and snuggly in this little winter outfit.  I took a few pictures to share with Uncle Jordan and Aunt Barbara who bought it for her.  She's a little ham today!!
