We've Moved!!!

Yes, it's official!! We are in the new house!! With the help of family and football players we managed to get everything moved this weekend!! We spent our first official night in the house on Saturday, but didn't sign papers on the house until Monday! Nana came and helped Mommy on Thursday. We got the whole kitchen put together and the old kitchen all cleaned out. Daddy and Mommy moved more stuff on Friday and the big ticket items were the last things to go on Saturday. Actually, Briggs was the very last thing to get moved!

We've managed to get a lot put away, but there's still work to be done! We're getting a privacy fence installed this week, as well as cable and internet. It's amazing how much effort goes into a move. Even more amazing is I had NO freak outs or melt downs!!! Alex had a few though. He's beginning to go through the I only want Mom or Dad stage. Which made getting a lot of stuff done nearly impossible, but some how we've managed!!

We are so thankful for good weather and great help! We're glad it will be a long long time before we move again! I'll post some pictures soon. I just found the camera last night!! Plus the computer isn't hooked up to post pictures right now. We'll get there though!

I'm Getting Hair!!

You may be asking yourself what that is on top of my head, and I'm happy to report. . . it's hair!! Slowly but surely Alex is growing some locks!!

Fun in the Tub!!

Alex loves bath time!! What more do I need to say!! He's starting to enjoy playing with a rubber ducky and is a kicking machine!! Once we move we're retiring the baby tub. What a big boy we have on our hands!!

Watching Daddy Work

Daddy's been working on a few outside home projects that we had to do as a result of selling the house. Thank God the weather has been so nice. Alex has hung outside with Daddy and kept him company!! We're happy to report Daddy is officially done making repairs, we move on Saturday! We're soooo excited!!

No More Hair!!

Poor little Thomas has exema so bad on his head, that Thomas and Amy finally decided it would just be easier to shave the little guy's head. He keeps scratching it and it's so scabbed and irritated. They're hoping with no hair the medicine will be easier to apply and actually help clear things up! The little guy is now sporting a style just like his Daddy's!!

What a Peach!!

Tonight was our first night trying peaches. The last two nights it's been applesauce. Tonight was the messiest Alex has been by far. He's really trying to be proactive and feed himself, but he's obviously not that skilled yet!!! As you can see he was covered head to toe, literally. He had it in his hair, on his Mommy and everywhere else!! How can you not just love this face though!! What a PEACH!!

Sleepover with my Cousins

Uncle Thomas, Aunt Amy, Gabbi, Thomas, and Uncle Jordan all spent the night last night. We hung out this morning in our PJ's and had some fun!! This was probably the last officially sleepover at this house!! No worries though, I know there will be many more at the new house!!

Lazy Saturday Morning

One of our favorite things to do is lay in bed on Saturday mornings after sleeping in!!! This Saturday was the last one for just Mommy and Alex, because the Bullets football season is officially over. Which means Daddy gets to start hanging out with us all the time, especially on our lazy Saturday mornings!!!

Special thanks to Nana for coming and watching Alex on Saturday so that Mommy could drive to Marshall for the playoff football game with Uncle Thomas, Uncle Jordan, and Cody. The game didn't go so well, but the weather was beautiful!! Great Season Bullets!!!

5 Months Old!!

Alex is 5 months old today!!! The time is seriously flying by so fast!! It's unbelievable how much you continue to grow and change. In the last month you've had your first ear infection and antibiotics, you started eating baby food, you've found your toes, love to blow bubbles, and your even getting a little hair on that bald head! Not to mention you are a true Mama's boy!! All such big milestones in your little life. You truly are a blessing and Mommy and Daddy love you sooo very much!!

Happy Halloween!

Obviously we didn't do any actually Trick or Treating this year, but of course we had to dress up!! As you can see, Alex was a lion and Seth was a bat!! A few more animals and we would have needed a zookeeper!! Happy 1st Halloween Alexander!!

Playoff Victory!!

Yesterday WHS played in the first round of the IHSA football playoffs. We were supposed to play Friday night, but since we've had ridiculous amounts of rain this week the field had standing water on it. The game was moved to Saturday and the sun was out and it was a nice fall day, but a bit windy. Thank goodness we get to hang out in the booth with Daddy! The Bullets played the Gillespie Miners and we beat them 26-0!!! We head to Marshall next weekend. It's a long drive, so Mommy's going to find someone to watch Alex. Aunt Amy volunteered last weekend so she just might get her chance this weekend, although Nana would trump Aunt Amy!!!

Learning to Eat

Last Saturday we started adding vegetables to Alex's meal plan. We started with sweet potatoes and he ate them right up, but I think they made his stomach hurt. He's also had green beans and carrots. He's really starting to get the hang of eating, trying to grab the spoon and shove it into his mouth. He also likes to stick his fingers in his mouth between bites. It makes for a nice big mess!!

Here are a few pictures from last weekend. Aunt Sara and Uncle Travis came and visited, but some how we ended up with no pictures with them. Guess they'll just have to come visit again!! We've been so busy this last week. Adam's been busy with football and I had session this week. Sure am glad veto session is only two weeks. I worked late and didn't get to see my Buggy very much. It killed me!!! Now we should be back to normal!!
