Today Williamsville had no school, so I took the day off work and we continued on with our Lincoln tour. We started the morning off with a tour of Lincoln's Home and walked all over the few blocks still set in that time period. After that we wend to visit Lincoln's Tomb. No trip is complete without rubbing Lincoln's nose! I must admit, this was the first time I have ever been to the tomb. We met a very nice lady inside the tomb who took down Alex's address and is going to send him some Lincoln information, including a copy of his last paycheck from the Illinois General Assembly.
We ended our trip with lunch and headed home for a family nap session. Pretty much a perfect day!
