First Soccer Game

Last minute advice from Dad before he starts off playing goalie.

Tonight Alex had his first soccer game at UIS.  He did a great job and started out playing goalie.  He saved a few shots and did a great job of paying attention.  After a break he was able to run all over the field after the ball.  He was pretty aggressive and did well.  Every time he got close to the goal he would slow down, and wasn't ever able to score.  We didn't keep score, but our team definitely outscored the other team.  For only having had a few practices, the kids really looked like they knew what they were doing.  By the end, Alex was exhausted and ready to eat! 

Grandma and Papa came to watch Alex.  So after the game, we went to Wendy's and grabbed a bite to eat.  We had two tired kids on the way home!
