Old Settlers Day Parade

Last night Grandma picked the kids up from daycare and headed to Hillsboro to Great Grandma Furness' house to help build a float for the kiddie parade for Old Settlers.  Grandma finally got her wish of having her grandkids participate!  Last year Alex got an ear infection and couldn't go.  Mommy and Daddy took advantage of a kid free night to go to St. Louis to get me another iPhone because Alex decided mine needed to go into the toilet.  We won't discuss it any further than that!!!

Anyway, the kids seemed to enjoy themselves at the parade and Alex even rode a few carnival rides too.  Daddy headed down after football practice to pick them up and caught the tail end of the parade. Alex was full of stories when he came home.  I think they both had fun!!!
