Today we went back to Knights Action Park, and it was Dad's day so he got in free. He only stayed until after lunch and then took Amelia home for a nap and to keep working on the basement. Right before we ate lunch Nana joined us because it was Grandparent's day as well, and she got in free!!! Mommy didn't have to pay either because Aunt Amy had won free tickets on the radio, and we didn't have to pay for the kids because we had a gift card from the Surratt's for the kids birthday! It was nice on our pocketbook.
We met Manda and Hayden Surratt there, as well as Erin and Xander Howe. The boys got along great and us Mom's enjoyed catching up. Alex wasn't as keen on the water slides today, but he sure did like jumping off the side of the pool into my arms like he was an Olympic diver. He had me saying, "Ladies and Gentlemen: Alex Kershaw is diving for the gold medal. Can he do it? 1-2-3 Go!!" We played this game several times for about 20 minutes at a time!!! It was nice to have some Mommy and Alex time!! Can't believe how fast the summer is flying by. Football practice starts next week!!
