Tonight we headed down the street to watch the Homecoming Parade. Alex had so much fun watching the parade and picking up candy. We got a ton of candy because everyone recognized Alex as Mr. Kershaw's kid. Alex loved dancing to the marching bands music and was so excited to see Daddy and Dude on the firetruck. Amelia wasn't quite as excited.
We then went to the football field for the pep rally and powder puff football game. Alex loved running up and down the track and on the field. He entertained quite a crowd with his football moves. Should I also mention that our favorite little football player got in trouble today for tackling at school. He ended up in time out because he made someone cry. This kid eats, breaths, and sleeps football. Daddy had a talk with him about only tackling on the football field.
Then we went and grabbed a pizza uptown at Bella with Dude. It was a late night, so I'm sure we'll have a crabby little boy in the morning.
