Halloween Fun

Last night the kids and I went to Roodhouse to a surprise 50th birthday party for Lisa Jones.  She's my friend Trista's Mom.  Lisa was very surprised and we had a nice time visiting with people.  Daddy of course was at the final game of the regular season in Mt. Olive.  The Bullets won handily with a score of 48-7, and that was with the JV team playing most of the game.  The Bullets are undefeated in regular season play for the first time since 1988.

Today we went with Nana to the Roodhouse Public Library and participated in their Halloween festivities.  We listened to stories, played several games, decorated pumkins, and had snacks.  It was a fun time.  Alex has really enjoyed watching the pumpkin faces glow in the dark.

After we were done we went to the store and visited Papa and picked up some lunch.  On our way out of the parking lot we noticed all the fire trucks out at the station so we drove by and that's when we noticed the AirVac helicopter.  Alex even got to sit inside.  It was by far the highlight of his day and it wasn't even the planned part of the day!!!

Then tonight we headed to a party to find out who we will play in the 1st round of the playoffs.  So next Friday night the Gillespie Miners will be heading to Williamsville to see who continues on in the hunt of the Class 2A ISHA Football Championship.

It's going to be a stressful week!!  Lots of football preparations, Daddy starts teaching 2 night classes at Benedictine, and Anthony will be coming over in the evenings because we have Veto Session this week.  Lord help us get through this week!!!
