Happy Birthday Briggs!

Today we celebrate our not so little puppy's 1st Birthday!!! He went to the vet today for a check-up and because he's been limping around, sleeping a lot, and not really eating the last several days. The vet seems to think he has an inflamed knee joint and gave us an antibiotic that he will have to take 2x a day for the next 7 days. He seems to be acting better already this afternoon.

All the assistants at the clinic loved Briggs when he was a puppy, and couldn't believe how much he had grown. He now weights 78.8 lbs, and is still growing. We've found very few toys that he can't destroy within an hour or so, and he loves his raw hide bones. As celebration for his birthday he will have the pleasure of feasting on a pig ear this evening. That's as good as it gets baby!!!
