Thursday marked Alex's 1st Thanksgiving! He truly is our little Butterball Turkey, all 21 lbs of him!! We celebrated Thanksgiving with Adam's family on Sunday since everyone was home to help us move! It was a very nice day hanging out together, but Mommy and Daddy were so tired from the move and knew we had so much more to do. We celebrated Thanksgiving with the Meehan's at Aunt Nancy and Uncle Ron's house in Gillespie. We got to see some cousins we don't see very often and got to see Allyson two days before she welcomed our newest family member, Zoey June to the family!!
After lunch we headed to Hillsboro to see the Furness family. We were stuffed, so no eating just visiting for us!! Alex wasn't very social with anyone. He's continuing to go through this I only want my Mom or Dad stage. It's somewhat annoying, but at the same time makes you feel like the coolest person in the world!!
Gabbi came home with us, because her Mom (crazy Aunt Amy) decided she was going to go Black Friday shopping. So the kids had a sleepover while Mommy shopped. Our first official sleepover in the new house!! My kid was the only one that didn't sleep all night!
Anyway, Thanksgiving was wonderful and it was a good time to again reflect on what a great year we have had. We've truly been blessed this year with a wonderful baby boy, a new sister-in-law Ashley, a new truck and thankfully Adam's life, a new house, good jobs, health, great family and friends and happiness. I truly couldn't ask for more!!!
