Fall Photo Shoot!

Of course Mommy and Aunt Sara had to try and get a few cute pictures of the kids together!! Thanks to Grandma & Grandpa for bringing the kiddos some pumpkins!!

Cousin Sleepover

Sunday Aunt Sara, Uncle Travis, & Evalee came to spend the night with us!! Grandma & Grandpa came over too to watch the Bears game!! We had a nice visit and Alex really enjoyed playing with his cousin.

A Little Pain!!

Friday I had to go to the Dr. because I was having some severe lower abdominal pain. An ultrasound was done and it was determined that my ovaries are hyper-stimulated from all the injections I have been on. They told me to take it easy and over time they will reduce in size. I was scheduled to back on Thursday for a follow-up. Well, I guess maybe I didn't take it as easy as I should and ended up in some very severe pain today. After taking Tylenol and laying down for 2 hours the pain hadn't subsided at all, so we called the Dr. and they told us to come in. Turns out I have some fluid around my ovaries now. Dr. Galle gave me an anti-inflammatory pill that also will help with pain. He put me on bed rest for the next couple days and come back on Thursday for my scheduled follow-up. It's really going to be tough not picking up Alex, but I'll try my best. Aaron was kind enough to come over tonight and take Alex to the JV game, so I'm chilling at home on the couch in a quiet house which is really weird!!! We did get to see a tiny little gestational sack today!! Dr. Galle said that's very good news considering I am only 5 weeks pregnant! Next week we'll be able to see a lot more!!

Friday was also Mommy & Daddy's 5th wedding anniversary!! Grandma & Grandpa Kershaw came to get Alex for a sleepover, and we headed to Bella Milano for a nice dinner for two!!! On Saturday we headed to Athens for the football game!! It was almost 90 degrees!! It was soooo hot, you would have never guessed it was October at all!!! We were glad to walk away with another win!!! Then we jumped in the truck and headed to Jacksonville. Mommy & Daddy had a wedding reception and Alex spent the night with Uncle Thomas, Gabbi, & Thomas.

We're Having a BABY!!!

Yes, you read that right!! Alex is going to be a BIG BROTHER!!! It's still very surreal at this point, but we have proof positive that it's true!!! Technically, we weren't supposed to take a test until tomorrow, but Mommy was a little anxious and the test said it was 87% accurate one day early. Plus I bought two of them, so there was one for tomorrow anyway!!

I took the test while Adam was changing Alex's poopy diaper. Yes, there will plenty more of those to come!! I threw the diaper away and grabbed the test and told Adam it was positive!! He couldn't believe it!! We were both yelling with excitement and Alex knew something good was happening so he squealed with excitement too!!! We truly didn't think it would happen so quickly, but we sure are excited!!!

We can't wait to meet you little one!!!!

Can You Hear me Now??

Friday night we headed to Nianctic to play Sangamon Valley for their Homecoming. It was a perfect fall night for football, just a little chill in the air and a win in our possession!!! We won 20-6!!! Unlike so many fields these days, we were able to pretty much be right on the field. Needless to say, Alex was in hog heaven. He loves being so close to the players and all the action. By the end of the game he was asking to go night-night, so I decided to put him in his jammies so he could go right to bed when we got home. Alex seemed to show interest in Adam's head set, but when we put it on him he wasn't so much into it. You'd think we were really torturing him. He was just such a tired little baby!!!

Pre-Game

Thursday night's pre-game tradition not only involves team dinner, but stocking the fridge with cold tasty beverages for post-game activities!! Alex always enjoys helping Daddy with this task!!! He's really started to play pretend in the last few weeks and he loves to pretend drink from cans and bottles.
