Today we went to Beardstown so that we could attend the wedding of Daddy's cousin, Clint and his new wife Allie. The weather was beautiful and the kids had a nice time visiting and playing with cousins. The highlight for Alex and Amelia was wearing their glow in the dark glasses that they got for birthday presents home. The lowlight was listening to their cousin, Aria scream and cry most of the way home (about an hour). I took this time to explain to the kids that the new baby would do this sometimes and we would need to be patient and understand sometimes the baby just wants to be with Mommy and to be left alone. In this case Aria was fighting sleep like it was her job. She did a hell of job folks! Welcome to parenthood!
