As if the kids didn't get enough toys for their birthday, we take them to Toys R Us! Uncle Tony gave them both $20 for their birthday, and it was the first present they each got. It was a few weeks before their party so we told them once they had their party they could each go buy one thing. They had a blast trying to figure out what they wanted to buy. They had to walk through the whole store before they made a decision. I was lucky enough to have stopped at Starbucks for a free birthday drink, so that kept me happy during this shopping experience. Actually, watching them look at everything was quite fun.
Alex ended up with a 50 piece fire/police rescue set and Amelia got an Elsa doll from the movie Frozen. Adam and I were impressed with their choices. They represent their interests well.
Now it's off to birthday lunch at Bella Milano, and then we get to take a peak at the new baby!!!
