Tonight Mommy and Daddy headed to Jacksonville to our old alma mater, Illinois College, for a book signing and reading. Professor Cindy Cochran worked closely with Adam when he was an undergraduate, and asked him to come back and share his book with about 40 current students. It was a bit odd to be on campus, as we haven't been in several years. So much has changed, but at the same time it brought back a flood of memories for both of us. We stopped at Lonzerotti's for a quick meal with Grandma and Papa Kershaw, Uncle Tony, and Great Uncle Dan and Great Aunt Jody before hand. Even having dinner there brought back memories for us!!
As Professor Cochran listed off all of Adam's accomplishments in the 10 years since he's graduated it made me so incredible proud of him. Not that I wasn't before, but to hear it all laid out was pretty impressive. I'm so excited to see what the next 10 years brings us. Maybe if we're lucky, Daddy will have a best seller and we can have a vacation home somewhere on the beach!!!
