Tonight after dinner we went outside to play and to wait for Daddy to come home from football practice. Amelia was super excited to find a package with her new tennis shoes in them on the front porch, but unfortunately they are too big. I know she'll fit in them someday, but just not today. Try explaining that to a 15 month shoe addict!! I did let her carry them around and that satisfied her for a while until she kept trying to put them on herself. UGH! She's going to be trouble.
When Daddy got home he got out the tricycle for Alex and the little blue race car for Amelia. She finally has enough thumb strength to hold down the button and make it go. She was awful proud of herself. When she wasn't riding that she really enjoyed pushing the tricycle in circles. We had two hot and dirty babes that went straight to the bath tub after tonight's outdoor playtime, and one little girl who went straight to bed.
