To The Park!

It was an absolutely gorgeous day out today, so I thought bribing Alex with a trip to the park might be in order.  We've been slacking on the potty training, and I decided this weekend we needed to get back in the swing of things.  I told Alex if he pooped in the potty that we could go to the park.  He immediately went and tried, but nothing happened.  Later in the afternoon he came and told me he needed to go, so off to the potty we went. . . . and he did it!!!!!  Sure hoping we are on the right track now.  So off to the park we went after Skyping with Nana to tell her the good news!!  She told Alex she thought he was tricking her!  But we told her no, this was great news!

Alex requested to drive the Gator to the park and to bring Briggs.  Both requests were granted and off we went!!  It's amazing to see how much more confidence and strength Alex has since the beginning of the summer when it comes to climbing on the big jungle gym and such.  His sister on the other hand shows absolutely no fear, and climbs on everything without a care in the world.  Her shirt "Nobody puts baby in a corner" is pretty appropriate.  She doesn't let anything stop her.  We sure did have fun!!!
