Today we headed out to Knights Action Park. Everytime we drive by, Alex is always asking if we can go. With the weather being so hot (in the low 100's) we figured it was a great time to go and cool off. Both kids had a great time, and so did Mommy and Daddy. We got there about 11 and left about 4. We wouldn't have been there that long if Amelia hadn't decided to take a little nap. She was so refreshed and raring to go after her nap that we were able to push on.
Alex was really excited to ride on the paddle boats. After getting their life jackets on they found out they couldn't because Alex was too little to reach the peddles to help paddle and I didn't want to take Amelia out on the pond. He settle for the bumper boats instead. He loved coming over and squirting Amelia and me!! Alex's favorite part by far was going down the blue waterslide. Daddy helped him the first few times, but then he stood in line and went down the slide all by himself. I loved hearing his squeals as he came down. Before he would even hit the water he was saying he wanted to do it again. Next year Amelia will be big enough to go down them, but she loved her time in the water nonetheless.
