Today we were up bright and early to head to Springfield to get Amelia's tubes put in. We had to be there at 6:30, so I got up and took Amelia and Adam stayed back to let Alex sleep a bit longer and get him to school and then be at the clinic in time for the surgery. Our plan worked out well, and they took Amelia back about 7:30 and she was back in our arms by 8:05. She really struggled to come out of the anesthesia, so she spent most of the day sleeping. She had infection in her left ear and the right ear drum was still sucked in. Dr. Garcia says all looks good and he'll see us in 3-4 weeks.
Now she is up and at em and seems to being doing quite well. Fingers crossed that we are on the road to recovery!!
