Tonight we headed to Roodhouse to see the Santa Train. Jill & Anthony went with us and we stopped in Jacksonville and picked up Thomas too. Gabbi had a music program at school so she couldn't join us. We went to Nana's house for chili and pigs in a blanket and then piled in the car to go see Santa and the train. The boys were so excited, and truthfully it was really pretty cool to look at. Nana and Amelia stood in line so we could see Santa and the inside of the train while Jill and I took the boys to look at all the lights on the outside of the train.
Alex was not interested in sitting on Santa's lap, but he did get just close enough to mention he wanted a digger and then he backed away. Thomas wouldn't sit on his lap either, but at least did pose for a picture. Anthony was super excited to meet Santa, but really bummed that he didn't get his Buzz Lightyear with wings that pop out right then and there!!
After talking with Santa we walked through several train cars that were decorated for Christmas and had big villages with little trains running through them. The boys were beyond thrilled and could have watched the trains forever! We're so glad Nana invited us to see this. Well worth our trip!
