11 Months Old!!

Denial is really beginning to set in, Alexander is 11 months old today which means he's almost one and I can't handle the fact that my baby is hardly a baby anymore!!! You still aren't crawling, but you can scoot on your butt to get wherever you want to go. You're talking up a storm, in your own little language of course, and you make the cutest wookie noises. You give high five and are getting the hang of patty cake by yourself. You also do "How Big is Alex?" In the last few weeks you have also discovered that your wrist move in circles, you can shrug your shoulders, and shake your head no! Sleeping through the night is the norm now, which makes Mommy so happy!! Baby food is a thing of the past. You do a good job of feeding yourself, but we have to tell you to slow down because you shovel as fast as your hands will let you!! You drink from a sippy cup, but haven't figured out how to hold it yourself yet. It's hard to teach you to tip your head back to get a drink. Every time we try to show you, you let go of the cup and have us do it for you. I know you'll learn soon enough! The other day you had your first tumble off the bed (Mommy's fault) and ended up with a little rug burn on your nose (check out the little scab in the pictures). You truly are a happy and healthy baby and we can't imagine life without you!!
