A Normal Night
After dinner, there is always some play time followed by bath time. The routine can get a bit monotonous, but we make the best of it.

Wheel Audition
I got an email saying that Wheel of Fortune wanted me to audition for the show. I really kind of thought I was getting punked, but it was a legitimate initiation. I love love love watching the Wheel so this is sooooo exciting to me. I've never really had a bucket list, but if I did this would be on it for sure!
So today I headed downtown to the President Abraham Lincoln Hotel in Springfield and gave it my best shot! The written test included 16 puzzles in four categories and I had 5 minutes to solve as many as I could. I think I got about 7 right. It was really hard. I made it as far as I could in the audition. I even solved a puzzle and won a t-shirt. Now I just wait for the next 2 weeks to see if I make it. If I do I will receive a letter in the mail. Fingers crossed!!

Monster Mash
I love seeing what the kids are going to be pretending each day. Such creative little minds. I really appreciate that Amelia can play Star Wars while accessorizing with a purse and heels.
Water Fight
Alex spent the morning at Lizzie's house while Adam was at football. Amelia and Ada went to daycare today. Alex was super excited to be having a water fight. The fact that it was raining out made it that much more fun!

Library Bound
And we are off to the library! Alex gave riding on two wheels and whirl. It took a long time to get there! And then the pedal fell off. Luckily Miss Jean had the tools Daddy needed to get it fixed. Amelia was going to try riding her bike, but she made it one house down before we decided that was a bad idea. The tricycle option didn't end up being a much better idea. The girl can't steer!!!!! Bottom line we made it to the library and back and lived to tell about it!
