Cook Out

We were so excited to see Reagan!  It's been too long!

 

Memorial Day is a busy one, and I for one am so thankful that I didn't have to be at work today!  We've been on the run today, and ended the day with a cook out at the Kunz's house.  So much fun!

Gone Fishin'

Diggin' for worms.

Today we headed to Girard for Jan Hawkins 60th Birthday Party.  Since we were so close to Sunset Lake we decided to take Alex fishing.  He's been asking Adam to go and has been practicing casting in the yard.  The lucky little guy caught not one, but two fish today all by himself!  Talk about a proud little boy with a fish story to tell!  He even rubbed it in Daddy's face that he caught fish and Daddy didn't!

Amelia was a little less than thrilled with the fishing experience and it wasn't made any better when she fell into the lake.  I don't know who was more scared, her or me.  But let's just say I'm calling about swimming lessons tomorrow!!  It was an absolutely gorgeous day, so Amelia and I hung back on the swing.

Family Room Complete

After several weeks of working on the family room, it's complete!!  Daddy worked super hard, but boy does it look great!  He built the walls around the fire place, put up the stone, and built the mantle.  We can't wait to use the fire place, but we'll have to wait until this fall.  That's ok, as we are more than ready for warm weather after the long and cold winter we had.  This also makes me want to paint every room in the house, but that will have to wait too.

Flower Power

 

Alex, Amelia, and Grandma made me a beautiful flower necklace at Alex's soccer game tonight.  Thanks for the flower power kiddos!

Little Movements

Just laying in bed feeling the little pitter patters of kicking going on in my belly.  It's such a crazy amazing and indescribable feeling!!  Almost halfway!  I've been feeling some movement the last several weeks, but tonight it was more than just one or two little kicks.  We've got an active one on our hands! 

Dinner on the Patio

 

 

We had our inaugural dinner on the patio tonight.  Now that the tree is gone, Daddy put down a paver block patio and it's finally ready for use!  We are so excited to spend some time out here.  The kids are old enough that they can entertain themselves while Mommy and Daddy sit back and relax.   Dinner was delicious too!!
