Coloring Eggs

Of course it's mandatory to try the egg dye.

Of course, it's an Easter tradition to dye eggs.  Amelia wasted no time taking a big old drink of the dye.  Alex was excited that Nana bought a decorating kit that had Star Wars on it.  Fun times!

Brunch

Uncle Jordan and Aunt Barbara made bagels from scratch.  We had plain, cinnamon crunch, jalapeno cheddar, and everything bagels.  They were so delicious!!  They should be, since making them is a multiple day process.  The mimosas that went along with them were excellent too!

Over the River & Through the Woods

And we are off to Nana and Papa's house.  Alex was really upset we washed the bunny off his face so I had to paint a new one on him and Amelia before we left home.  Hoppity Hop to Roodhouse!!

Ice Cream Treat

After dinner we headed downtown to Coldstone for some ice cream.  Daddy had some coupons that were going to expire.  We got an ice cream for the kids to share, and based on the first photo you can see Amelia wasn't cool with that idea.  We had to get an extra bowl so that they could each have their own, and then everything was perfect.

Southwinds Park

The weather is soooo beautiful today.  It finally feels like spring.  We picked the kids up from daycare, and headed to Southwinds Park to enjoy the day.  The kids had a blast.  I sure wish this park was closer to us, but it's on the south end of town.  It amazes me how much the kids have grown since last year.  Alex could go down the firepole by himself this year, and Amelia was running all over the place trying to do everything herself.  We decided to go to this park because we were meeting Grandma, Papa, and Uncle Tony for an early Easter celebration.  The kids ended up with tons of goodies in their Easter beach buckets!!  It kept them entertained while we waited for our food.

Easters On Its Way

Today Alex's class had an Easter party.  Janna pained bunny faces on all the kids faces and they made bunny ears.  I think I've got a pretty cute little bunny on my hands!

Side Note:  The kids made it the rest of the week at daycare.  They both came home in different clothes at one time or another but we're finally on the mend!  Just in time to celebrate Easter with the family!

Finally Recovering

Well, Daddy's snow day was really a double sick day.  Amelia still has diarrhea, but is getting better.  Alex told Adam his belly hurt and then about 20 minutes later he puked.  He puked several times throughout the day and once in the night.  Today he seems to be feeling better, but now he had diarrhea.  We can't win!!

Honestly today though they've both been pretty good.  Both of them are eating and drinking Gatorade today, so that's a positive.  Daddy stayed home in the morning and I came home in the afternoon.  Fingers crossed that they can go to daycare tomorrow and we can get back on a normal schedule.
