Happy 30th Birthday Aunt Amy!!

Monday was also Aunt Amy's 30th birthday. We had a homemade cheesecake to celebrate (Amy's favorite). We forgot candles so we improvised with some toothpicks!! Nana & Gabbi even decorated the cake with some straws!! I think she would agree it was a good day! Happy Birthday Aunt Amy!! We Love You!!

We also need to wish Uncle Trevor and Uncle Travis a Happy Birthday too!! They turned 26 on Wednesday!! We Love You!!!

Swim Party!!

On Monday the Meehan's arrived in Lake of the Ozarks. We spent the entire afternoon in the pool! A good place to be considering the heat index was around 105 degrees!! Uncle Thomas and Uncle Jordan didn't make it down on Monday because they both had to work, but they came down early on Tuesday morning.

More Boating Adventures!

Sunday morning before we left we took the boat out one more time. Mommy and Daddy rode together and Daddy got to ride by himself and Mommy and Camilla rode together. We had so much fun, but boy were our bodies sore the next day!! Alex didn't like it when Mommy and Daddy rode together, and really got upset when we fell off the tube!!

After tubing we headed back to the condo to pack up and clean up. We said good-bye to everybody and headed to the other side of the lake to start our family vacation with the Meehan clan!!

Sleeping & Snacks

The boys were tuckered out after our boating excursion, so there was no arguments about naps today. Actually we all took naps! It's just cuter to look at sleeping little boys then adults, so I didn't bother with pictures of everybody else.

After nap time, Heather had Doug pick up cupcakes at the store and she was kind enough to share them with the boys. As you can see, they really enjoyed them. Alex went straight to the bathtub after that! We spent the rest of the evening lounging around. Tony loved on Alex and Doug mimicked Alex's finger sucking/ear tugging!!

Beach & Boating

Saturday morning we hopped on the boat and headed to Frankie & Louie's for breakfast. They have a nice little beach that boys enjoyed playing on. Alex liked the sand until he got it in his mouth!! Can't say I blame him though. Then we headed out on the boat. The water was really rough and we were bouncing all over the place it was kind of scary, and go figure Alex went right to sleep!

Alex absolutely loves the water! He never once complained about wearing his life jacket and loved splashing around. Looks like next year we'll be signing up for some swim lessons!

Boating & Baths

After nap time we headed out on the boat. This was Alex's first boat ride and he loved it!!! I didn't think he would really want to get in the water, so I didn't even bring all his stuff for him. I was wrong, but we improvised and Alex also had his first skinny dipping experience too!!! We had a nice relaxing time, but boy was it hot out!! We were out for a few hours and then headed home, gave the little boys baths and then grilled out. It was pretty much an awesome day with awesome friends!!!
