Roll Over

Tonight Ada rolled over!!  It came out of the blue, and quite frankly I thought it was a fluke. We were just trying to get in a little tummy time while Alex and Amelia played cars, and next thing I know she's on her back.  Honestly I thought the kids had done it.  We flipped her back over to try it again.  She had more encouragement from her siblings than she needed and sure enough she did it again!  She wasn't happy with all of this excitement, it quite frankly scared her.  I gave her a break and then tried it one more time because I really just couldn't believe she was rolling over already.  Sure enough she did it again.  My little baby needs to slow down.  I'm not ready for these milestones yet. 

Sleeping Cousins

Today I met Uncle Thomas and picked up a sick Thomas.  He was complaining of a headache and was a little snotty.  Uncle Thomas had lots of work to do today and Nana had a Dr's appointment so I was next in line to help out.  Glad I was able to, even though I didn't want sick germs in my house!! Thomas spent the day laying on the couch watching movies and trying to steer clear of Ada so we didn't pass too many sick germs around.  Papa came and picked him up later in the day and took him home.  We ended up finding out that he had Influenza A and strep throat!  Yikes!!!  Lucky for our family we were able to avoid these yucky illnesses!!!

Ada is starting to enjoy laying on her floor mat and looking at her toys.  She's kicking those legs and trying to figure it all out.  She sure is a happy little girl, as long as she know Mommy is close.

Tonight we went to Jacksonville to celebrate Thomas David's 6th Birthday.  He had to call when we were on our way there to see how close we were because he didn't think he could wait much longer to open all his presents.  He was happy with all his gifts.  He got new guns and Legos.  He even had a few new shirts that his Mommy had picked out for his birthday, so those were extra special.

Times like these are tough, but our family cherishes our time together a little more now.  We are so blessed that this little man has been in our life for 6 whole years now!  What a big boy!!  We celebrated with steaks on the grill and ice cream cake.  Good stuff.

Tree Decorating

Tonight we put up the Christmas tree!  This is the most perfect tree we've ever had.  It's so fresh and smells amazing.  We had two very happy helpers.  Amelia lasted about 10 minutes and then decided she was too tired and needed to watch a Christmas movie on Netflix.  Alex held on until the end.  Ada sat nicely in her seat and enjoyed the Christmas lights.  This is going to be the best Christmas yet!  It's always fun to celebrate Baby's First Christmas.

My days are spent feeding and snuggling with this little lady.  I can't think of anything better.
