Bubbles, Bubbles Everywhere!!

The bubble maker was a hit. It blows a serious amount of bubbles!! The kids loved it!!

The Easter Bunny Came!!

The kids were up bright and early (about 6:30) to see what the Easter Bunny had brought them. Alex got a piggy bank and pin wheel from the Easter Bunny and Mommy and Daddy got him a swing to hang outside. He also got a ball and bubble blower from Aunt Amy & Uncle Thomas. Nana & Papa got Alex several summer outfits. Thomas got a bubble blower also, along with some flip flops, a ball, some pj's, and some clothes. Miss Gabbi received candy, 3 pairs of flop flops, a shirt, some pj's. I think her favorite gift was a multiplication and division workbook we bought for her. She also got a poncho/swimsuit cover up thingy from us. These 3 little ones made out pretty good on this very beautiful and blessed Easter Sunday!!

Egg-cellent Times!!

It was time to commence the annual Easter egg coloring session. Just as I predicted the two little boys didn't really care, and Alex managed to spill the blue dye all over!! We still had fun, and everyone but Papa participated (yeah that' how it usually goes!!) Daddy is excited to have lots of left over eggs to make egg salad with, but Mommy thinks that's gross!! We'll see if Alex will eat some eggs, I'm sure he will!! Unfortunately, cousin Thomas just found out that he is allergic to eggs so he definitely will not be eating eggs!

What a weekend we had!! We headed to Nana and Papa's late Saturday afternoon. Daddy helped drag out all the patio furniture and the kiddos played on the deck and then we headed inside and played more inside until it was time to eat. Then it was time for the real Easter festivities to begin. . .

10 Months Old

Today our little Alex is 10 months old!! You are continuing to grow and change in so many ways. Now that you've got tubes, you are sleeping through the night and this is a true blessing for Mommy!! It's allowed Mommy and Daddy to get up a few mornings a week to work out, but we don't do it as often as we should!! You've started giving high fives and saying uh-oh. This morning we think you might have said Mommy, but it was only once. We're also working on saying dog. You eat like a champ. You now eat lunch with the big kids at daycare!! There isn't anything we've found that you won't eat. You love going for walks and wave to anyone who will glance your direction. One of your favorite toys right now is a wooden back scratcher. You use it to pull other toys closer to you. It really cracks us up! You are on a pretty reliable schedule, by 6:00 every night you are ready to eat and by 7:00 you are ready for bed. You're internal clock never fails!! Every morning we have to wake you up, but you're always happy to see us. When we leave every day we always stop and talk to Briggsy and then you wave good bye to Daddy and Briggs. You've become a little better with other people, but you still love Mommy and Daddy more than any body else. Your top two teeth will be making an appearance before long. You are truly an amazing little boy and we love you so very much!!
