Today Amelia woke up not feeling good today and was running a fever. She told me she wanted to go to the Dr. I didn't figure that was a good sign. The daycare had said a few kids had strep, and we've been giving her breathing treatments the last few days. They said her throat was a little red, but mostly from sinus drainage and that her lungs sounded clear, so we got our stickers and suckers and away we went!
We made a stop at Target before heading home, and Amelia picked up an Easter Bonnet from the $1 section. How stinking cute does she look? We shopped and she fell asleep on the way home. I sat in the car for about an hour while she slept, but talked with Nana, Uncle Thomas, and Trista so it was productive. We had a little lunch, watched some TV, and back to bed she went. The girl wasn't feeling 100%, but after nap she was ready to see her brother. She seems so lost without him. We went to pick him up and enjoyed the nearly 70 degree weather. After about an hour she'd had her fill and was ready to chill on the couch again.
