The kids were so excited to pick vegetables from our garden. Our tomatoes have done well, but we've only managed to get the two cucumbers and the two zucchinis pictured here just last night. The kids were so excited that they Skyped with both sets of grandparents to share the news.
Today they invited Miss Lisa from daycare over for dinner because they knew I was going to use all the fresh vegetables tonight. We had baked chicken, fried zucchini, sautéed tomatoes, onions, and garlic, and cucumbers with salad dressing! A feast fit for a king!!
