This morning we headed down to Virden to celebrate Christmas with Grandma and Papa Kershaw and all of Daddy's brothers and families.  We had our traditional Christmas breakfast.  The kids were excited to eat at their new Thomas the Train table!  You can even use dry erase markers on the top of it.

We let the kids go first, and open all their gifts.  Alex was so excited to get Hulk hands, walkie-talkies, and a big car mat to drive his cars on.  Amelia had her heart stolen (and her breath literally taken away) when she opened up her new Elmo which was adorned in several necklaces.

Once the kids had plenty of new items to keep them happy, the rest of us opened our gifts.  We're pretty blessed to have so many gifts to open.  We got lots of great things including Home Depot gift cards, so we can buy paint for living room and finish up the basement.

Uncle Tony was really excited to have Alex watch Star Wars for the first time.  I have no idea which one they showed him.  He watched some of it, but new toys and cousins trumped the experience.  We headed home late evening with two very tired kids, who then refused to go to bed.  It was an extremely rough evening, and it didn't help that we had a house full of guests!!  I guess that's what the holidays are all about though.
