Happy Birthday Nana!

 

Happy 60th Birthday Nana!!!  We are thankful we were able to celebrate a few weeks ago with you and again tonight.  I made a homemade 3 layer carrot cake with cream cheese frosting.  It was delicious, and Ada was a huge fan of the icing!  Nana hasn't been feeling well, so she convinced the grandkids to help get her Avon book ready for delivery.  We had a nice little sweat shop going, and you would have thought we had them working for hours on end.  These kids have no idea how easy they have it!

What's Cookin'??

 

Ada is cooking up something good for dinner.  If only we could really eat it.  I'd love a night off!

Ryan's Baptism

 

 Today we attended mass at the Cathedral in Springfield.  We witnessed the baptism of our friends, Michael and Amanda's baby, Ryan today.  It was a very nice mass followed by a wonderful brunch at their home.  I was lucky enough to get some cuddle time in with the man of the hour.  We are glad we were able to share in this special day with the family. 

Time for Your Check Up

 

As if Ada doesn't visit the doctor's office enough, Dr. Amelia had to make sure Ada's lungs were sounding clear.  I love seeing them playing together.

Tonight Alex and I played SORRY.  I was beating him, but then he changed the rules mid game and he beat me.  As Papa Meehan would say, "You gotta cheat us to beat us.  Oh yeah!" 

 

Crabby Pants

 

Poor girl still feels crappy.  To be honest I'm so far behind on blogging I don't remember what she had, but it's safe to say it was sinus/breathing related.  It's the story of her short little life!
