Championship Game

We took a party bus to Champaign to cheer on the Bullets in the State Champsionship Class 3A game!!  It's cold and we have on lots of layers, but we are sooo excited. These are the pictures I took on my phone.

Meanwhile, back home Manda was sending text messages letting us know how things were going back home in the warmth of our house!

We spent the day in Bunker Hill with the Meehan family.  I left my camera at Nana's house so all you get are a few crappy iPhone pictures.  Sorry to document your First Thanksgiving this way Ada, but that's how it goes sometimes.

Nana's birthday was yesterday, but we celebrated a tonight.  Uncle Jordan and Aunt Barb came in from Ohio so we waited for them.  It was great spending time with family.  These last few weeks have shown us just how important family is.  We are trying to make every day count.  Daddy stayed back home, as the Bullets have practice in the morning.  We'll see him for lunch tomorrow though!

Nana had the grandkids working hard this afternoon.  They were stamping her new Avon books and getting them ready for her to deliver.  Ada enjoyed being snuggled by everyone.  Aunt Barb dressed Alex up like Taylor Swift.  Thomas, Alex, and Amelia gave Nana a surprise dress up session filled with singing of Happy Birthday.  We had cake and were merry!
