Chalk Talk

She said, "No pictures Momma!"

Spinning in circles.  She was moving so fast!!

We've really been enjoying some beautiful weather.  Alex and Amelia really enjoy playing in the front yard, and lately they love writing with sidewalk chalk.  Alex is getting pretty good and writing his name and has been doing a lot of practicing.  He also likes me to draw football players, cheerleaders, and footballs.  It's in the kids blood!

Bath Time

It's been a while since we've ventured upstairs to take a bath.  As of late, most nights the kids shower with Daddy after football practice.  Tonight Daddy's teaching class at Benedictine so we're shaking up the routine a bit.

Part of the routine you can not change is Amelia's immediate need for fruit snacks as soon as she has on her jammies and her hair is combed.  She's an addict!

Passed Out

The pumpkin patch and birthday party were too much for Alex.  He just couldn't stay up for the Bears game.  That's OK, it wasn't much of game.  Bears are on a roll.  Beardownbaby!!!

Happy Birthday Uncle Tony

After the pumpkin patch Grandma, Papa, and Uncle Tony came over so we could celebrate Uncle Tony's birthday.  Mommy and Daddy tag teamed dinner and we had brownies and ice cream for dessert.  Uncle Tony was excited to get the new Jack Johnson album from us.  Happy Birthday Uncle Tony!  We love you!  Also Happy Birthday to Aunt Ashley who celebrated her birthday earlier this week!  We love you too!

Bomke's Pumpkin Patch

Today we met Nana, Uncle Thomas, Gabbi, and Thomas for lunch in Springfield at Buffalo Wild Wings and then we headed to Bomke's Pumpkin Patch.  It was a gorgeous day, actually a little warmer than we expected it to be.  We played in the play area, rode on a hayride, fed goats, picked out pumpkins, and ate popcorn and cider.  It was a great day!! 

Fall is my favorite time of year and going to the pumpkin patch really got me in the mood!  I can't wait to decorate the house and figure out what the kids want to be for Halloween.  This is the most wonderful time of the year!!!  I'm hoping to maybe get another patch in before it gets too cold out!!
