Santa has Arrived!!

Happy Birthday Jesus!!

 

Sammy ended his stay with us by paying homage to our dear Lord and Savior, Jesus on his birthday.  This truly is the reason for the season.  Until next year Sammy.  Safe travels back to the North Pole.

A Christmas Tradition

I love the expression on Gabs face as Thomas falls out of the wagon!!

New jammies for Christmas!  Nana forgot she bought jammies at the end of last year for them, so they had quite a few selections to choose from.  We first opted for the ones that matched for a photo opportunity and then the boys changed into other ones!!

Gabbi made me laugh.  She complained that opening jammies was no fun because she already knew what she was getting.  And as she opened them her face lit up with a big old Christmas smile and completely in love with her new pj's.  Silly girl!!!

Making Christmas ornaments.

The boys got emails from Santa and boy were they excited!!  They had so much fun playing with Uncle Jacob.  There were lots of wagon rides and wrestling.  Dipping marshmallows and pretzels in chocolate and making Christmas ornaments.  Time to go to bed, Santa is coming!!

A Long Flight

 

The kids took a nap before we headed to Nana and Papa's house.  When they woke up, Sammy was gone!!  Come to find out, he had left to take a long flight and ended up hanging out with all the snowmen on Nana's mantle.  We're glad he made it OK!

Let Me Make a Note of That

The kids love writing, and were super excited to get new paper and markers for Christmas!!

This morning I made a cheesecake and Daddy made little donuts for breakfast.  We both had little helpers.
