This is the dress that I were on my First Christmas, and Amelia followed suit!!  She looks so much like I did when I was her age.  I need to scan the picture of me in this dress for a comparison.  What a cute little baby doll!!  Love her!

We had to wake Alex up, so when he came downstairs he was a little confused and overwhelmed by all the presents and toys!!  After he got something to eat he was much more eager to open presents and try everything out.  The boy came home with way too many things. . . the long awaited digger, a work bench with tools, a fire engine, chainsaw, tractor, a little digger, books, and a dinosaur mask.  I know there was more, but this is just some of the highlights.

Don't worry, I'm not forgetting about you Amelia.  She was satisfied watching everyone and trying to eat the wrapping paper.  She managed to get quite a haul too.  She ended up with a baby doll, books, clothes, a little purse and bracelet teething toys, and Pup (a specially made dog from Uncle Jordan).

We all got way more than we needed and are truly blessed with a wonderful family!!  We're so glad we got to spend time together.

This afternoon we headed to Nana & Papa's to officially begin the holiday festivities.  It was the first time in a long time that all my brothers were home at the same time.  Of course it was loud and crazy but we had lots of fun.

Uncle Jordan and Babs helped the kids make sugar cookies and decorate them.  It was a little to labor intensive for the little kids, but they did enjoy using the cookie cutters.  All the grandkids opened up new jammies, but trying to get a picture of them all together was near impossible.  They were ready for bed!!!
