Ear Update

Alex went to Dr. Garcia's office today, he's the ENT, for a follow-up visit to make sure we had finally beat that darn ear infection. Unfortunately we didn't get all good news. The left ear was looking good, but the right tube was still blocked and he had fluid on it. He's now back on ear drops and a new antibiotic. Let's hope we can kick this darn thing!!

Yesterday was Grandma Kershaw's birthday, so we met her and Grandpa at Bella Milano for her birthday dinner. Today is cousin, Evalee's first birthday and Uncle Jordan's birthday!! Happy Happy Birthday to all of you!! We Love You!!!

Birthday Business

We have soooo many birthdays in April, so Alex had a lot of cards he needed to color tonight. Happy Birthday this month to Grandma Kershaw, Uncle Jordan, Evalee, Aunt Sara, and Uncle Thomas!!!! They all have birthdays in the next week and half!! That's a lot of celebrating to do!! That's OK, that means lots of birthday cake to eat!!

Today we had lunch with the Kershaw clan before everyone headed home. We then had a nice long Sunday family nap. It was so beautiful out we headed out for a walk. As we were walking past the park Alex spotted the slide at the same time we saw some friends that have a little girl, Reese, who is the same age as Alex. We ended up spending almost 2 hours at the park. It was so much fun!! I sure wish I would have had the camera, but we'll have more play dates I'm sure!!

Saturday we loaded up in the car with Aunt Sara, Uncle Travis, and Evalee and headed to Grafton to Pere Marquette State Park for Drew & Alicia's wedding. The weather was absolutely beautiful. We had a good time and Alex and Evalee loved dancing!! Those two are so incredibly cute together and you can just see how much they love each other. It's too bad we don't live closer together.

Big Brother Intuition??

Last night I was reading to Alex his book on being a big brother and talking about the new baby. He didn't seem super interested and kept walking in and out of the room. Then he walked back into the room came over to my belly and said, "Hi Sissy". I asked him what he said. Adam walked in at the same time and heard Alex say again, "Hi Sissy". I don't know if he knows something we don't know, but we'll find out in a few short months!!

Potty Time??

Probably not really potty time yet, but Alex did ask to pee tonight. I took off his pants and let him sit down, of course he didn't go but at least he showed a little interest. I think he was more interested in putting toilet paper into the bowl than anything. It would be great to get one out of diapers since we have another one coming soon that will need lots of diapers. But I'm not going to push the issue, but we'll see if he keeps showing interest.
