Bumbo Time!

Check out this big boy sitting all by himself in his Bumbo seat. We tried this out a few weeks ago, but we just didn't have enough neck control. It's amazing what a few weeks can do.

Actually this is what Alex is doing right now with Daddy while Mommy gets caught up on her blogging. Today we went to Grandma and Grandpa Kershaw's for lunch. We got to visit with Aunt Angie, and Great Grandma Furness and Kershaw!! Mommy forgot to bring her camera so we don't have any pictures! Maybe next time.

Tomorrow is Labor Day, so we plan on hanging out at home as a family, doing pretty much nothing. We can't wait. Daddy's been so busy with football that we haven't had too much time to do it. We did hang out yesterday together when we went to get Alex's 3 month pictures taken. We got a few family shots too, and of course we'll share those with you when we get them!

Hi Mom!!

Check out Mommy's great garage sale find!!! I've been on the hunt for an exersaucer, but really didn't want to have to dish out $100 or more for a brand new one. I found one Friday at a garage sale for $20!!! Aunt Amy cleaned it up for Thomas to play in, so Mommy really got off easy!! Right now I put Alex in it backwards because he can lean forward a bit more. Alex can hold his head up very well, but just not for a very long time. I know we're going to get our monies worth out of this for sure!!

After the football game Friday night, Alex had a sleepover with his cousins. They had fun playing together. Thomas is all over the place now, and enjoyed checking Alex out. Gabbi is a great big sister and big cousin!!

Friday night the Bullets had their first home game against the Riverton Hawks!! The Bullets are now 2-0, as they won big time with a score of 41-3!! Little Alex is the Bullets good luck charm this year!! Nana, Uncle Jordan, Uncle Thomas, Aunt Amy, Gabbi, and Thomas came to watch the game. And of course, Grandma and Grandad Kershaw were there. They never miss a game!! I didn't take any pictures of Alex because he was a complete crab, and only wanted his Mamma! And Nana left before I busted out the camera. Darn!

At one point I did walk up near the booth where Adam is during the games and Alex immediately spotted him and wouldn't take his eyes off him. It's so cool how he recognizes his Mommy and Daddy!! That smile will melt your heart in a second.

Fran, one of the coaches wives made shirts for all the coaches kids. Stay tuned because next week we'll debut that shirt. It's super cute!!

Good Bye Uncle Jordan!

Thursday we went to Jacksonville and had pizza with Nana & Papa, Uncle Thomas, Aunt Amy, Gabbi, Thomas, and Uncle Jordan. Uncle Jordan came home from Ohio to visit for a few days before he heads off to China for several weeks to travel the country. We think he's pretty brave going to a country all by himself, especially since he doesn't speak the language. We're pretty excited for him at the same time though. We wish him safe travels and hope he has a wonderful time!! We Love You Uncle Jordan!!!

Alex was pretty crabby this night, but going for a ride in the stroller with Gabbi made him pretty chilled out.

Weiner Roast in August?!?!?

On Saturday (August 29th), yes I said August it was so unseasonable cool that Papa decided to have a wiener roast. So he invited us over, along with Thomas and his family. We sat around a nice fire had wienies, baked beans, chips & dip, and smores. It was wonderful!! Alex enjoyed himself until it got dark out and then he wasn't too thrilled about not being able to see what was going on. All in all a wonderful evening hanging out with the family at Nana & Papa's!!
