Martin Luther Christmas

 

 

 

Today we celebrated Martin Luther Christmas!!!  It was wonderful to get to sleep in this morning and have a little quiet time at our house.  We met the kids at Fusions for an afternoon swim.  Ada really wasn't much into it, but Alex and Amelia loved it.  After swimming, we went to Grandma Furness's house for a late lunch/early dinner and present opening.  There were lots of laughs and tons of fun.  A great way to officially end our Christmas season!!

Tonight we hosted a party for our friend's Ben & Emily who are FINALLY tying the knot!  We had a great night celebrating them and friendships from college that are more than 15 years old!!!

 

Thanks to Grandma & Papa who kept the little ones for us.  It's so nice to have a kid free evening occasionally!!!

Snow Day

 

Today Amelia's class had a snow day at school.  We were asked to bring in food or activities to share with the class.  Amelia shared her Snowball game with the class, so they were able to have an indoor snowball fight.  We also brought in white shaving cream since there is no snow!  The kids had a wonderful time playing in the shaving cream.  It sounds like it was the best part of the day.  Well, maybe after the snow cones that Ryder brought in to share!!!  Look at those colorful tongues!

Today Miss Cindy sent a text of Ada to me.  I sent her one back.  Love that technology keeps us connected during the work day.
