Baskethounds

Alex had his first basketball game tonight at The Gym.  He had a blast!!  He did more passing then shooting, and he's a great team player.  This should be a fun season.  Uncle Jordan and Aunt Barbara were able to see a game while they were home too.  We forgot to tell Grandma and Papa the time changed, and they walked in as we were walking out.  That's ok though.  They joined us for pizza at Coz's, along with Jordan & Barb and Thomas & Gabbi.  It's been a busy day, but super fun!!!

Post Party

 

 

After everyone left we continued to hang out and enjoy the weather.  Daddy got in on the pillow action with Ada.  I think the big boys like it as much as the kids do!  I just love spending time with the fam!!!!

60th Birthday Brunch

  

Today our family, along with several of Nana's closest friends gathered at their house to celebrate Nana's upcoming 60th birthday.  We had a wonderful brunch, including the most amazing Bloody Mary's made by Uncle Jordan!  It was nice to visit with so many people that we've grown up with and don't see regularly anymore.  We even saw Ada take a few steps today which Manda was able to snap a few pictures of!  Our baby girl is growing up and Nana is growing up too!!!!  I sure do love when our entire family can be together.  It's so special and I'm happy we were able to celebrate such an amazing woman.  It was even better sitting outside in the wonderful sunshine.

Pillow Talk

 

 

 

 

A tradition we've always had with the little ones is laying them in this oversized pillow and throwing them up in the air repeatedly.  Some people would consider it child abuse, but our kids consider tons of fun!  Ada absolutely loved her first ride.  She kept asking for more.  The other kids are sad they are too big.  And then there's Amelia wishing her hair was as long as Rapunzel's.  Never going to happen little girl!!!

Helper

 

This cracks me up!!!  Amelia is already talking about going to Kindergarten next year.  Alex tells her she will need a back pack, so to get ready she can practice carrying his out to the car.  She thinks she's a big helper, and Alex is already learning how to scam his little sister.

Hi Uncle Jacob!

This morning I got a text from Uncle Jacob, so we decided to send him our beautiful morning smiles!!! 

Walking!!!

We have a walker folks!! Ada took several steps on more than one occasion today at daycare.  She refuses to show us any of said activity at home.  I did witness a few steps at daycare.  She's hard headed, so she will show us when she's ready!!!
