Water Fight!!

 

No better way to celebrate our independence than with a good old fashioned water balloon fight!  We even gave Ada a balloon that lasted way longer than we thought it would.  Needless to say Ada wasn't super thrilled when the balloon busted and the cold water splashed all over her.  Ada is trying so hard to pull herself up on the rungs of the porch, but she just doesn't quite have the strength.  She'll be there soon enough.  She's moving and shaking that's for sure!

We spent the afternoon at the Compardo's pool celebrating our independence.  Fun times!

Toothers

 

 

Ada has her first two teeth popping through.   Normally the bottom ones come in first, but not for this girl.  Look out those long eyelashes too. . .  disregard the nasty nose!!

It was late when we got home last night so every one slept in.  Now we are just lounging in the bedroom this morning.  

 

Parade

Sent a text to Jacob and Jordan letting them know we missed them!

It's parade day!!! I always love this day.  Not for sure why, but I do.  It's just a long standing family tradition that I'm glad I get to share with my kids.  This was Ada's first parade and she loved the bands.  The girl loves her music.  The other two love the candy and rides and I love the lemonade shake ups and bagpipers!  We all win!!!

Painting Project

Daddy and the kids finally got around to painting their picnic table.  We keep waiting for a day when it isn't raining, but those days are few and far between.  They decided to do it in the garage and then took a run the rain and puddles.  Ada enjoyed the shelter of the covered porch and attempted her own art project with some sidewalk chalk.
