We weren't able to make the Easter Egg Hunt in Williamsville last weekend, but we did get to come to Sherman to take part in this one. Daddy spent the morning at Lowe's getting all the stuff he needs to build a shed while he's on spring break next week, so he met us at the park. We enjoyed playing at the park, jumping in the bounce house, eating snacks, and Alex got his face painted. He wanted to look like a clown so he could scare me. He knows clowns freak me out! The kids entered their names into a drawing to win a bike, and Amelia was heartbroken when she didn't win. Ada pretty much chilled in the stroller. It was a little windy, so it was best she stayed snuggled up. She's still coughing and wheezy.
The hunt was divided into age groups and there were quite a few people in attendance. There were too many people for Amelia's liking. She picked up a few eggs and pretty much shut down. Alex was off and running. They both enjoyed going through their eggs and seeing what they received. We feel so blessed to live in a community that is so giving. County Market donated snacks and drinks and many prizes. It was a fun morning celebrating Easter.
