Post Picture Park Fun

We promised the kids if they cooperated for the photo shoot that they could go to the park.  We can't break a promise.  They really enjoyed themselves!

Facebook Official

Tonight we took a few pictures of the kids in their new Big Big Brother and Big Sister shirts.  We made the news of our newest family member Facebook Official tonight!  I'm really happy with how our little photo shoot went considering it took all of 10-15 minutes.  We've got two excited kids and two excited parents anxiously awaiting this new baby!

Mother/Daughter Banquet

 

 

 

 

Tonight Amelia and I went with Grandma Kershaw to her church's Mother/Daughter banquet.  It was a Kentucky Derby themed party, but I couldn't get Amelia to wear her hat but for a quick photo.  I didn't have a Derby hat, so sorry to disappoint folks.  We had a nice time, and Amelia really enjoyed the desserts!  I was excited to meet a local blogger, Courtney Westlake, who was the guest speaker.  She has a daughter with a rare skin condition, and she discussed her struggles as a Mom and how she has relied on her faith to get her through.  I had the chance to visit with her for about 10 minutes, so my night was complete!!!

 

Daddy and Alex went and had dinner with Papa.  The kids got their jammies on before we headed home, but had to have a little fun with some silly glasses they found in the toy box.  They sure are characters!

Water Fight

Last night Alex had another soccer game, and he did well.  He tends to lose focus by the end but it's fun to watch!

Today we continued work on the family room and it looks so amazing.  I'm so happy with the results.  The kids are happy with the great weather that we are having, and are taking advantage of the warm weather by having a water fight.  Amelia really liked it when Alex got her butt all wet.  Needless to say, it was straight to the bath tub at the end of the day!

Firehouse Fun

 

This morning we went to Williamsville Fire Department's Pancake & Sausage breakfast.  It was delicious, and the kids loved climbing on the trucks.  Amelia was not so thrilled with the loud sirens, but Alex was excited to get to make the sirens go.  I love small town living!
