Candyland

 

Tonight Daddy was teaching class and Amelia was in bed so Alex and I played a couple games of Candyland.  He beat me the first game, and almost did the second time but I was able to pull out a win.  

Hairy Situation

Amelia managed to get a battery operated car stuck in her hair.  I was pretty positive I was going to have to bust out the scissors, but luckily she sat patiently and we were able to get it out with minimal hair loss and no crying!!

Family Time

Today the whole Kershaw clan came to our house today so we could get our family pictures taken.  At Christmas time we gave Grandma and Papa a family photo session to them.  We were going to wait until Spring, but then we found out Aria was on her way so we waited until her arrival.  So, here we are!!

We crossed our fingers that we would miss the rain, and thank God we did.  But man was it sticky and hot out!  Bottom line, we did pretty good considering we had five kids under the age of five!  We are anxiously awaiting to see what Brandy did for us!!!

The two teams came together after the game to pray on the 50 yard line.  It was pretty cool!

Tonight we played Porta for our Homecoming game.  We won with a score of 35-6.  It's tradition to have fireworks at the Homecoming game.  Amelia liked looking at them, but she ran to me every time they went off.  She spooks very easily, which is just another way she is exactly like her mother!!!

Tonight we headed down the street to watch the Homecoming Parade.  We ended up with a ridiculous amount of candy, and two tired kids.
