Petting Zoo

We hung out at Nana and Papa's house this morning.  Papa was supposed to bring stuff home so we could cook breakfast.  We had breakfast for lunch instead!!!  That's what happens when you try to get Papa to come home from the store on a holiday!!

After lunch we stopped in Jacksonville at Nichols Park to check out the petting zoo.  Thomas rode the pony, but our kids weren't interested.  Good it saved us $10!!  They did love feeding and petting the goats though.  The babies were so little they still had their umbilical cords.  Crazy to me!!!

After the parade, we headed down to Lion's Park for carnival rides.  Nana had tickets bought and the kids were ready to go.  All three kids enjoyed the rides, but the big slide was their favorite!  No carnival is complete without a corn dog and a lemonade shake-up, along with popcorn and cotton candy!!  A perfect ending to a long time tradition!!!  Needless to say, it was straight to Nana and Papa's to go to bed.  I didn't haul my big camera and just used my phone so the pictures aren't fantastic.

4th of July Parade

We headed down to White Hall tonight for the annual Lions Club parade.  The weather was great and the kids enjoyed the parade.  It's a whole lot of fire trucks, tractors, and marching bands.  It's tradition so we can't miss it!!

Ooooh Purple!!

As previously mentioned, we are raising a diva!!!  She was over the moon excited to look at all the nail polish colors in my ULTA catalog, especially purple!

A Hand to Hold

It's not a good picture, but it's priceless.  I love turning around and seeing this!!!  We were heading home from dinner at Cheddar's with Adam's parents and Uncle Tony.

Daddy Hair Do

Today I got a text from Daddy.  This was his first ever attempt at any kind of hair do with Amelia.  He said it looked like sh*t, but I think it looks pretty darn good.  Amelia was a little frustrated because it took Daddy several attempts and a few hair ties to get it done.  Daddy was really frustrated too. I'm pretty proud of him, and it looks like Alex is too!
