Movie in the Park

 
Tonight we took advantage of the fact that the chance of rain was going to be minimal and headed to Southwinds Park for Movie in the Park night.  We played at the park waiting for it to get dark and then we settled in to watch Wreck it Ralph.  We had fun and the kids watched most of it. Amelia was more than ready for bed and we ended up leaving a little early.  She was asleep before we a mile down the road.  We're looking forward to doing it again in a few weeks!

Come Back Briggs!

I went inside to get dinner going, while Daddy finished gardening.  The kids opened the gate and Briggs was gone!!  Daddy had to get in the car and chase him down.  Luckily the neighbor was able to nab him for us!!

Another Beautiful Day

She asked for her blanket.  She was so close to falling asleep.

We were able to get a little playing in after school and work today.  I picked the kids up from school so Daddy could get the yard mowed.  He also planted a little garden for us.  We have tomatoes, green beans, cucumbers, zucchini, and strawberries.  We aren't claiming to be farmers, but we'll see how it goes.  With all the rain we don't have to worry too much about watering things, but I'm not always a very good weeder!!!

Dentist Visit

 Alex and Mommy had a dentist appointment first thing this morning.  Alex decided that I would go first since that's how we did it last time we went for a check-up.  We both had great check ups, with no cavities.  Alex did an absolutely wonderful job, and let them do everything they needed to do excepts floss his teeth.  Guess we need to start working on that, but Mom and Dad don't do it very regularly either.

Alex really enjoyed playing in the little playhouse prior to our appointment.  He and Baby had a yummy 'breakfast' and conversation while we waited.  Before long Amelia will be coming with us.

End of Great Day!

It was a long day, but a fantastic day spent with all our family.  We had no naps today so it's early to bed for us.  Yes, that's Mommy included.  I was in bed by a little after 8:00.  Hopefully this next week goes by fast!

Happy Mother's Day!

Today we all headed to Virden to go to church with Grandma and Papa Kershaw.  We were even able to get a picture with everyone in it and one of the grandparents with the grandkids!  It's a Mother's Day miracle!!  

After church we came back to our house and Adam cooked pork chops out on the grill.  My Mom came over, as did Amy, Gabbi, and Thomas.  Papa Meehan, Uncle Thomas and Uncle Jordan were on a REC church retreat.  It was a nice day surrounded by our family.  Of course, the kids had a wonderful time playing outside.  Briggs and Bailey had fun too!!

Playing with Cousins

Today Uncle Travis, Aunt Sara, EE, and Izzy came to celebrate Mother's Day at our house.  It was a little chilly out, but it didn't stop these little ones from running around and playing.  Truth be told, I did a lot of visiting and didn't take a lot of pictures.  Maybe Aunt Sara has some she can share with us.

Later in the evening Uncle Tony, Grandma, and Papa came over for dinner and to play.  It was a fun filled day for all the kiddos.
