Today we headed to Virden to spend the day with Grandma and Grandpa, Uncle Tony, Uncle Trevor, Uncle Travis, and Evalee.  Alex loved helping Grandma peel the apples.  He's a pretty good help in the kitchen.  After lunch the kids headed outside to enjoy the cool but sunny day.

Homecoming Win

Tonight was our Homecoming game against Athens.  It was a big game, as both teams were undefeated.  We came out on top with a 27-6 win.  These were the first points we've given up all year.  A pretty impressive no scoring streak.  We gave them a touchdown, but no way were giving them the extra point!  It was very cold out tonight, so Amelia was so bundled up that she had trouble moving.  She finally gave in to sleep, which made it so much easier for me to watch a very exciting game.  

Uncle Thomas, Aunt Amy, Gabbi, and Thomas came to watch the game too.  Everybody except Uncle Thomas ended up hanging in the van most of the night, including Alex.  I didn't take my camera, and actually could focus on the game for once so I don't have any other pictures to share!

Reunited

It's been quite a long time since all four Kershaw boys have been under the same roof.  This picture made for one happy Grandma Kershaw!

Pig Tails

I got this picture via text today.  Miss Lisa has been dying to put Amelia's hair in pig tails and today she did.

And to think I almost cut some of her hair because it's looking a little mullet like!  What a cutie!!

Jump Right In

Tonight when we came home Alex asked if we could make leaves into a pile so he could jump in them.  I said 'sure'  and wow did we have a great time!!!  He also said him and sissy need a sucker from the parade.  Today it was nearly 80 degrees and by the time we went in it was closer to 50 degrees.  YIKES I think the cool weather has arrived.  It's supposed to be in the 50's and 60s for the next week.

We enjoyed the Homecoming parade as we always do.  Then we headed down to the football field for the pep rally.  As is our tradition, the Kunz's and Kershaw's had dinner together.  This year we just ordered pizza and let the kids run around at the house.  It's just easier that way.  Looking forward to the big game on Friday.  We're the game of the week,  have been on the news and 1450 radio.  We play the also undefeated Athens Warriors. It's going to be a great game!!
